ABC FOUNDATION

Spread the love

A non-for-profit and educationally focused charitable organisation founded and funded by Chief & Chief (Mrs) Olusola and Ariyike Olu-Alabi, the Olu-Omo and Yeye Olu-Omo of Egboro land since year 2000.

The goal of the foundation is to foster, recognise and reward academic excellence and outstanding performance among students of Ijebu-Jesa in both Middle and High Schools. The other objective is to financially assist Ijebu-Jesa sons and daughters to achieve their educational goals through creation of educational motivation, encouragement, competition and educational healthy rivalry.

The foundation celebrates academic excellence yearly by rewarding best students in each of the arms of the schools with monetary rewards, certificates of recognition and trophies.

In 2010, the foundation offset the National Examination Council registration fee of two students in addition to her yearly awards.

The foundation with the motto ‘eni ti iwo ba nipa lati se iranlowo fun, ohun naa l'enikeji re’ had been encouraging students in their academic pursuits, laying good examples for others to emulate since year 2000.

Over 100 students have benefited from the foundation's annual award. In 2015, as part of BBC Foundation's 15th Anniversary, all the High School Teachers in Ijebu-Jesa were celebrated, honoured and appreciated.
