The Ijebu-Jesa Recreation Club was set to create an avenue for our active youths, retired but not tired adults as well as our aged to patronize and feel at home with their peers. A sort of melting pot where members can visit to relax, play games or even hold business or personal meetings in serene environment devoid of any form of tantrum.
Furthermore, for the glory and upliftment of Ijebu-Jesa, bearing in mind that the likes of Ikoyi Club, Lagos Country Club etc started many years ago just like this.
The IJRC has the following among its aims and objectives;
To operate as a non-profit making, private members organisation. The Club shall exist to provide social and recreational facilities for its members. The Club shall strive to co-operate with and contribute towards charitable and other such organisations aimed at helping the needy and less fortunate in the .
The Club further noted it shall co-operate with the government any of its agencies to promote the development, progress and harmony of the state in particular and the country at large.
The Club however is completely apolitical and would not affiliate with any political organisation now and in the future. However, individual members are free to run, belong and participate in any political office of his/her choice.
You are very welcome to be part of this movement. It is however pertinent to inform you that the club is being run with members application fee of #1,000.00 and annual subscription fee of #20,000.00.
