APOSTLE JOHN OLUWOLE DONATES 500KVA TRANSFORMER TO OKENISA COMMUNITY

Residents of Okenisa Community in Ijebu-Jesa on Friday 17 September, 2021 trooped out enmasse as they heaved a sigh of relief at the hope of getting electricity again after the community had been thrown into darkness for about seven weeks due to faulty transformer.

A philanthropist, Apostle John Oluwole donated the brand new 500kva ABB transformer to the community after learning that the power outage that resulted from the faulty transformer also affected the palace of the Elegboro of Ijebu-Jesa.

The multimedia guru who was represented by his Personal Assistant who came to deliver the message noted that he could not wait any longer after been told that the palace had been in darkness for weeks.

He added that this gesture is part of his own Corporate Social Responsibility to the community which accepted him and his corporation to do business without a hitch.

Responding on behalf of the youths of the community, Mr Oluwole Ejalonibu appreciated the donor for such a worthy gesture. This he noted has proved Apostle Oluwole as a peace loving and responsible person. He then prayed for God’s continual blessings on him.

The Elegboro of Ijebu-Jesa, HRM Oba (Engr.) Moses Oluwafemi Agunsoye who was away on official state assignment sent his appreciation through his Personal Assistant, Mr Sunday Ademola Ojelabi. The monarch eulogizes the donor for this selfless giving at a time like this and given the nation’s economic situation.

The new 500kva transformer will replace the old one which was a 300kva in size and very old too. It is located by the water reservoir area in Okenisa quarters of Ijebu-Jesa.
