A Non Governmental Organisation, Findo Care Foundation is set to bless 50 households in Egboroland community with direct cash transfers.
According to the organisation, the initiative is in commemoration of the 5th anniversary of the Elegboro of Ijebu-Jesa, HRM Oba (Engr.) Moses Oluwafemi Agunsoye on the throne.
While speaking with the monarch, the Chairman of the Foundation, Otunba Funmi Abiodun Findo (Snr.) who is also the Atunluse of Egboroland noted that the project is to provide succour for many families going through hardship at this period.
According to him, the many positive innovations and developmental efforts of the Elegboro were noticeable and such must be supported. He added that the 5th Coronation anniversary of the Abikehin-Ekun is an appropriate time to reach out to the vulnerable in the society in solidarity with the king who he described as God-sent.
Oba Agunsoye was full of gratitude to the Atunluse and his organisation for such a humanitarian gesture to the people of his kingdom. He noted that the beneficiaries will be carefully selected in a bid to ensure that real vulnerable families benefit from the gesture. He then prayed for more blessings upon the organisation and the chairman and family.
The project will see 50 households get direct cash transfer of N20,000 each.
