IJUC NORTH-AMERICA DONATES BOREHOLES TO IJEBU JESA

Members of Ijebu Jesa Unions’ Conference, North America Branch has donated 2 boreholes to the residents of Ogbon Ogbeje and Aramomi-Odo Oja communities in Ijebu Jesa.

The projects which were commissioned by the paramount ruler of Egboroland, HRM Oba (Engr.) Moses Oluwafemi Agunsoye, Abikehin-Ekun Agunsoye II were parts of numerous community and humanitarian services of the association.

In his speech at the 2 commissioning occasions, the project supervisor, Professor Babaniyi Babatope Fagbulu lauded members of IJUC North America in their relentless efforts to always support the progress of their homeland. He described the water provision projects as a life-impacting project that will bring relief to the commuters and protect them against waterborne diseases.

In his separate commissioning remarks, Oba Agunsoye appreciated members of Ijebu Jesa Unions, Conference, North America under the leadership of Chief Kenny Olatunji who doubles as the Babagunwa of Egboroland for being at the forefront of Ijebu Jesa developmental agenda. Elegboro recalled the massive support of IJUC North America in the ongoing Elegboro Modern Palace Project and many more.

Kabieyi described Ijebu Jesa as a land of community-sponsored projects as envisioned by its forebears and expressed gratitude to his subjects for sustaining the vision. He submitted that promotion of self-help projects has placed Ijebu Jesa among comity of developed communities.

He advised the beneficiary communities to make good use of the projects as a way to appreciate and motivate the donor to do more. He thereafter prayed for unending blessings for all natives and residents of Ijebu Jesa with an admonition to sustain the spirit of undiluted patriotism for the community.

At the events were Olori Omolara Agunsoye, the project supervisor, Professor Babaniyi Babatope Fagbulu, some members of Elegboro-in-Council, residents of Ogbon Ogbeje and Araromi-Odo Oja communities who trooped out in their hundreds as a show of gratitude to the donor.
